Maybe they could use that to dig up the money pit instead of those tiny boreholes. It should also be noted they’re digging exactly where their scanning says the ship isn’t. They find a log, a piece of wood, and another piece of wood. Rick analyzes the log with scientific sniffing and determines it’s significant. A new borehole named F2 finds wood. Good thing that segment didn’t end up on the editing room floor.

Metal detecting on lot 4 finds an iron spike and an adze head, which they insinuate could have been used for shaping ancient Egyptian boats. But it is later identified as being English and from 1620 to 1740, which somehow definitively connects it to Xena’s thoroughly discredited map. A war room meeting uses signs to prove the button from last week is a British button from the 1700s, and the impossibly thin abnormally small metal bit is somehow from a Portuguese Templar cannon, a tiny tiny cannon.
