The Curse of Oak Island (In a Rush), Season 9, Episode 6: The Root Cause

“The Curse of Oak Island in a Rush.” We’re recapping the season nine episode, “The Root Cause.” So, what happened? They start the week with hole D 1.5 and find wood, mud, and show filler. The team revisits the tunnel entrance targets they found last week, the ones that, despite claims otherwise, have no correlation at all to Xena’s wildly discredited map. They find a copper object, a leather strap with a metal buckle, and a button. When analyzed, the button is found to be 0.159 silver, 0.129 percent gold, and, do I even need to say it, 6.16 osmium. Any guess on which element they ignore?

In conclusion, last week’s theory was that they found several secret tunnel entrances. This week’s reality finds a button. It’s probably for the best because they brought far too much logic and care to the show. Tune in next time when another 10 members of the team are fired, which is strange because they didn’t do anything. Of course, if they did do something, I might have to make recaps last longer than a minute.
